| SKINCARE CONCERNS |
Dr. Dennis Gross strongly recommends a daily am/pm regimen for face and body. Within the regimen, you must use the prescribed products as directed to CLEANSE, TREAT, MOISTURIZE and PROTECT the skin in order to achieve the maximum results and benefits. Often times there is more than one product under these categories. By becoming aquainted with these categories it will also simplify the order in which you apply your prescribed products.

We encourage you to learn more by reading Dr. Dennis Gross' book, Your Future Face, as well as by taking the Personal Profile on our website so we can prescribe the products that are right for you.

| Men's Grooming |
Men have a mechanical difference in their skin due to shaving and the fact that their facial skin grows hair, making their skin different from a woman's with distinctive oil chemistry. On top of that, the daily stress on the skin from shaving adds to men's needs.

| Dry Skin |
Dry skin requires products that can lock moisture into the skin as well as humectants that pull water from the environment to continually provide a dual approach to hydration.

| Acne |
Acne starts with a blocked oil gland (pore), which is actually an oil chemistry problem. When acne occurs, the oil is too thick or waxy. Instead of flowing, it forms a plug. These are flat blackheads, which are the first stage of acne.
Trapped behind the blocked oil gland is bacteria. Whenever bacteria is trapped behind a waxy, plugged oil gland or pore, it is a perfect situation for bacteria to proliferate. At this stage, acne appears as a pustule (white pus in a bump on skin) or a bump (bacteria underneath skin without visible white on surface).
The secret is to "get ahead of acne" and prevent the acne blemish from forming in the first place.

| Anti-Aging |
To understand how to combat the signs of aging, it's a good idea to become familiar with the process itself. The rate at which our skin ages and how it appears is determined primarily by genetics, the passage of time and our lifestyles.

| Combination Skin |
Combination skin means that you have both oilier and drier patches on your face. Most often, the T-Zone (forehead, nose and chin) are oilier with the cheeks tending to be drier. This can be a tricky combination to treat properly. You need to find the right balance of controlling oil versus adding moisture.

| Dry/Dehydrated Skin |
Skin may become dehydrated at times due to stress, travel, and the environment. This condition is often layered onto another main skin concern and may or may not come and go, based on the season and what is going on in your life at the time. Definitely take the obvious step of drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day to start.

| Hyper-Pigmentation |
Hyper-Pigmentation is dark circles or patches that are considerably darker than the rest of the face. This is often the result of sun damage, hormonal fluctuations, or genetics. Ascorbic Acid and Kojic Acid are both key ingredients that lighten hyperpigmentation.

Oilier skin requires the careful management of oil production - not overdrying of the skin. Many MD SkincareĀ® products are self-adjusting - perfect for an oilier complexion.

| Rosacea |

Rosacea redness, irritation and bumps are often confused with acne. You can help control rosacea by limiting caffeine, alcohol, spicy food and exposure to extreme temperatures.

| Stressed Skin |
Skin is the largest organ that the body has. If you are stressed in any way (internally or externally), it is almost guaranteed that your skin will also show signs of this stress.
